Vaccinations for students in Rotterdam
As a student, you lead a busy and social life. Lectures, parties, travel and meeting new people are all part of the experience. That’s exactly why it’s important to take your health into account.
Frequent contact in lecture halls, shared housing and at festivals increases the risk of infectious diseases spreading. With the right vaccinations, you reduce the risk of getting sick and avoid unnecessary health risks.
At our Travel Clinic in Rotterdam, you can quickly access vaccinations and receive personalised advice tailored to your situation.
Why are vaccinations important for students?
As a student, you come into contact with many different people, which increases the risk of infection. Some infectious diseases can have serious consequences, even for young and otherwise healthy individuals.
Vaccinations help protect you, so you can focus on your studies, travel and enjoy your student life with peace of mind.
Which vaccinations are recommended for students?
We recommend the following vaccinations for students:
HPV vaccination
The HPV vaccine protects against several types of cancer caused by the human papillomavirus.
This vaccination is recommended for both males and females from the age of 10, but it can still be beneficial later in life.
Meningococcal vaccination
The meningococcal vaccine protects against serious infections such as meningitis and blood poisoning (sepsis).
This disease can progress rapidly and have severe consequences. Vaccination provides effective protection.
